Meet Kyle Causey of AZ Exotikk Extensions

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kyle Causey.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Kyle. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
When I was younger, my hair uses to fall out in patches, I wasn’t diagnosed with alopecia or anything, but my edges were so thin and it was really tough growing up in a world where your hair is a social status. The older I got the more I wanted to make sure I had the best hair. However, beauty supply hair made my face break out and my hair would itch so bad I would scratch scabs into my head.

I started being more interested in 100% Raw hair that had never been processed and I always wanted to start my own business. I have a lot of great hairstylists in my family, but I just loved buying great hair that can be used over and over and I wanted to give that same experience to my clients. Sometimes we may not have money to buy new hair every time an event happens, but knowing that I have quality hair that can be used 2-3 years later and still have a “like new” effect is the best feeling in the world. I don’t just want to provide hair extensions. I want to offer peace of mind when it comes to dealing with your hair.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
No way! Starting a business is tough! And I started with very little money, but I took the time to invest in myself. Now being a part of this COVID Pandemic is taking a major hit against my company. With many of the raw hair vendors in China, Vietnam, India, and Burma, it is limited on what can be shipped to United States. Although I feel like I’m at a stand still I have prepared myself for an overflow of customers once life is able to return to some sense of normalcy.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with AZ Exotikk Extensions – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
AZ Exotikk Extensions specializes in delivering 100% raw virgin hair to customers. We provide single donor hair, which means that each bundle of hair comes from one donor. The hair has not been processed in any way and is in its natural virgin state. This allows for smooth blending and a great overall look. Hair won’t over tangle and shed everywhere. It’s completely manageable for everyday women who want to look presentable effortlessly. When I moved to AZ from Chicago, the hair game was tragic to say the least. There was nowhere to buy good.

As a company, I’m most proud of the direction my company is taking. Being a part of this magazine is huge and I only want bigger and better things from here. My goal is to team with several stylists and hospitals to help give those who have diseases that specifically attack hair follicles wigs. It can be tough having a bad hair day, and I couldn’t fathom not having any hair or just watching my hair come out and it’s nothing that can be done.

AZ Exotikk Extensions is different from other hair companies because we are about more than just giving people hair to buy. We want to uplift the spirits of those who feel defeated because their hair won’t grow. We want to be a part of your hair journey every step of the way and provide people with a stylist that meets their hair needs.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Our future plans are to expand. I want to open two storefront locations, one in Phoenix and the other in my hometown Chicago!
