Hi Krystle, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I always had a gift for beauty. I would do eyebrows, makeup, and hair at the age of 12. I didn’t realize that beauty could be a sufficient career initially. I went in the medical route instead and was a licensed Athletic Trainer (Sports Medicine) for 10 plus years before deciding to go to Esthetic school. I now have my own esthetic business, located in Scottsdale, Arizona, specializing in corrective skincare and waxing.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has been many peaks and valleys. Being consistent, wearing so many hats as an entrepreneur, financial strain, and working for free at times are just a few challenges that I have faced. Faith and work have sustained me to get through those challenging times.

AZ SKIN AND WAX is a peaceful, serene, oasis built on result driven practice to promote skin confidence in men and women. Effective skincare with client education at an affordable price, was always my goal when starting my own esthetic business. I specialize in corrective skincare for the face and to the body, as well as intimate waxing. I’m known for my Brazilian wax and vajacial combo and relaxing and effective back facials.

What sets AZ SKIN AND WAX apart from others, is that I offer effective and high scale products and services at an affordable price. I love that I’m able to help men and women feel confident and educated within their skin. At AZ SKIN AND WAX, all are welcomed, and services are efficient and relaxing.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
Scottsdale is known to promote self-care and pampering. The market is quite saturated, but no one can compete with what you offer and vice versa.
