Meet Kinsey-Beth and Neal Kendrick of Couple of Bartenders, Liquid Caterers in Chandler

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kinsey-Beth and Neal Kendrick.

Kinsey-Beth and Neal, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My husband and I both spent our early 20’s behind brick and mortar bars, but always had a side hustle and enjoyed working for ourselves. Both of us moved on to hold corporate sales jobs after that, but when my husband was laid off we decided to start Couple of Bartenders. At first, it was just simply something we shared with friends and family but quickly realized that word got around fast and we started to grow beyond that. We eventually grew out of our garage and into an office space and within a few short years both my husband and I went all in and now have a team that works events all over the state!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
You always face adversity in business. Some of our biggest struggles was juggling a growing business and a growing family with two young boys. Staffing and scheduling can always be a challenge when you have events going on all over the valley at the same time, but we have also been blessed with a great staff.
Other than that; standard growing pains of trying to work on your business and not in your business has been one of the biggest challenges.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Couple of Bartenders, Liquid Caterers story. Tell us more about the business.
We are a mobile bartending and event staffing company that specializes in all aspects of the bar and beverage management services related to events like weddings, private parties, festivals and large events, corporate events, etc.

We are known for having staff that is constantly going above and beyond to not just pour a great drink but also provides a great bar experience for both the client and their guests.

We are also known for our expert knowledge, specialty cocktails, excellent communication and overall seamless execution of events large or small.

Educating our clients about the importance of the bar is something that we are passionate about, guests typically visit our team at the bar several times throughout the evening. You typically see guests walking around with a cocktail/beverage in hand all night not necessarily a fork.

Over the last several months we have added a few new service offerings – Tap Truck AZ and SipMi. Tap Truck AZ is a 1966 Chevy Panel Truck with 5 taps down the side – we can serve beer, wine, soda, kombucha, coffee – anything that can be ‘tapped’. SipMi is an edible garnish that provides a wow factor on top of a cocktail – for example, a company logo or a ‘Selfie’

I can honestly admit that I am proud of all aspects of our business but most proud of the ability to receive so many great reviews from all our clients on a job well done. It is always all about our client, not us!

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I would have to say we are super lucky to find such a great team. Without them; we would not be as far along as we are.
