Meet Khalid Shaheed

Today we’d like to introduce you to Khalid shaheed.

Hi Khalid, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always been an advocate shopper and I am a consumer of high quality clothing and everywhere I shopped I always bought a bulk amount of clothing, until I went to one of my favorite retailers and ordered some stuff but I didn’t get what I wanted and was treated as if my money I’ve spent with this particular company meant nothing, so I was unsatisfied because this is a company that I frequently shop. so I decided to do something about it my own way. I wanted to make a difference in how shoppers were being treated and what quality type of clothing they were getting. So, I went and bought every type of clothing that was relevant and that was premium quality and made sure it was affordable and accessible through me. That’s how the idea for Auto Pilots Clothing Store came into existence.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Any accomplishment always has its own obstacles but the mind frame that you have to go with is positivity and knowing that you have a destiny and no matter what, who, or when, nothing is supposed to stop you from that destiny. I had a lot of personal things going on in my life that did slow Me down per se in the physical form but it didn’t slow me down mentally. See when you have a routine / regimen things become more easier clear and productive so I just stuck to that and that is why progression is what the outcome is of the store.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Well, Auto Pilot’s clothing store is obviously a retail store but the idea for autopilots is not just a clothing brand, it is a lifestyle, so when we market or when we go out there and represent for autopilots yes we’re representing the clothing but we are representing more the brand of the lifestyle, high quality, premium, the adventurous, the No holds bar lifestyle. Limitation is only set forth on the person that puts it on themselves I am a person that is not limited my skills, my dreams, my passion, is all unlimited. So, what I specialize in is the same thing just like what I specialize in with my clothes and that’s always coming with a lot of 1 of 1’s. Meaning that this piece, there is only one of them available there is no duplicate. So, it’s the same with me I am a 1 of 1 there is only one of me created and there’s only one of me… and I embrace that with everything I do.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I don’t believe in luck. It’s either positive energy or negative energy and there’s also good karma or bad karma all based off of YOUR choices. Choose wisely! So like I said I had a lot of different things that had transpired during the build of this dream but to talk about it is to reach in the past and I am a totally present & future kind of guy. I can’t do anything about the past except learn what to do or not to do. Just know I had my struggles just like anyone else but what sets us all apart is how we react or be proactive to what comes before us. Proper preparation prevents poor performance.
