Meet Kayla Beck of TruFusion in Scottsdale

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kayla Beck.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Kayla. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Can I just say that I myself am inspired about how I got my position teaching Pilates at Trufusion? This story is pure evidence of the power of manifestation and the power of belief. In the same day that I told a loved one that I would like to be a fitness instructor, I received an e-mail from my modeling agency about Trufusion seeking a brand ambassador. Being the first time I had even heard about Trufusion, I looked them up. Scrolling through their website had my heart racing. It was group fitness and the classes they offered were right up my alley. I felt so reassured during my time of scrolling through their website that this place was perfect for my high energy and passion to inspire. I was so pumped, and at that very moment, I sealed the vision in my head that I would be a teacher there. My best friend even witnessed this moment. I literally shook my own hand and out loud said “done deal.”

And so my quest began. But here is the inspiring part. It happened almost instantly. I reached out about being brand ambassador thinking that It would be wise to get some kind of representation through this company until I could land the job. Well, I would say this is where the universe worked through me because it only took one class. I connected with the right person right away. I took Pilates with Jess and oh man.. I was fired up and so alive! I went right up to her after class without even thinking. It was literally like my spirit pulled me towards her and opened my mouth. I was scared but I also felt so brave. I told her how inspired I was and asked if there was any way I could earn a spot doing what she does. And you know what she said? She said YES and that she was actually going to be running a certification class for hot Pilates in August. What?! Wow!

I left that night feeling so empowered and trusting that I am meant to teach Pilates. The universe had my back and opened the door for me with such breeze that it had to be a part of my mission here. True manifestation and the power of law of attraction. I literally painted that picture and the all the right things at the exact right times had to happen in order for me to be offered a position there. I have begun my online training and I am so hungry to learn and practice the skills I’m learning. That Pilates class with Jess was my FIRST time trying Pilates EVER. I honestly felt like all these years I had been working out all wrong. Pilates connected my mind and body in such an incredibly powerful way. There is no doubt in my mind that this is the start of a life long passion for myself.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My time of struggling came before I stepped on the mat at TruFusion. The person I was a year ago is not the same person who walked into TruFusion a couple of months ago. I had to build so much momentum through discipline- discipline towards myself, my mind, body, and spirit. Oh, but the reward is so much greater than the work, and to be honest, I enjoy working on my personal development more than I love anything else. I have full faith that because I choose myself everyday, I am going to successfully lead others into believing to choose themselves. Hot Pilates is an excellent way for me to choose myself. It combines high-intensity interval training with focused strength training, and it’s all done in a 100-degree room with humidity. I am challenged in every class that I take. But I love it!

I look forward to class time the entire day. I even drive 35 minutes just to take a class with Jess. It is my time to find my edge. I push through all resistance and make powerful break-throughs about what I am capable of doing in that hour. I leave feeling like superwoman! There is something so powerful about connecting your mind to your body, and Pilates gives you an hour to do just that. Plus.. when you are being led by someone with such high energy and a deep passion to push you to your edge, you can’t help but leave feeling like success. Honestly, I am so excited to start teaching. It is my purpose to inspire others and I am going to get the chance to do so in the perfect environment. Everybody who walks in that class is there to push themselves and I honor every individual who steps on that mat with me.

TruFusion – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
You want to know what I immediately noticed the first time stepping foot into Trufusion? The energy. Everybody there was vibrating with excitement, including myself. Every single person in the building had a different vibe, but as a collective, our energies all rang at the same frequencies. The frequency of self-care and perseverance. The people who join you in class are like your tribe, we all start together and end together, with the same goal in mind-to leave feeling strong and empowered. There is such beautiful satisfaction in seeing a person come in dressed in their business attire to then standing next to you cranking out burpes while you two share sweat and tears together. I mean, seriously, no matter what class you choose (kickboxing, yoga, pilates, barre, cycling) it’s the energy in the room from all the people that help you push through your biggest mind blocks. Believe me, you don’t want to stop when the whole class is still going even though you guys are all exhausted together. We don’t give up even when we feel like it, and I think that’s what sets Trufusion apart from any type of work-out facility that I have ever been. It’s the people and the silent commitment we honor together as a whole. But even deeper than that, it’s the energy. You’ve got to feel it to believe me.

Since I haven’t actually led a class myself yet, I can’t say what I am known for just yet. But I do know myself, and I know that I dedicate my time towards raising my vibrations for myself and others every single day. I specialize in self-care, mind training, and personal growth. I do this because I want to lead others to doing the same. How can I be a great leader, if I can’t even lead myself? I believe that my disciplined practice of choosing to believe in myself will set me apart from others. I have trust and faith that I can lead others to victory simply because I do it for myself daily.

What do you know now that you wish you knew when you were just starting out?
Well seeing as how my journey is just starting, I’m not sure if I have had enough time to learn any lessons yet. What I do know is that I don’t hesitate any more and that is what I would have done differently in my past experiences in life. I just move based off faith. I move because my spirit leads me, my higher self leads me and I follow. Hesitation is a lie, over thinking does us no good. When we want something we have to just go for it. I went for it, I reached for it, and I know it is going to show when I lead others. I am not afraid to be seen anymore! In fact, I want to be seen. I am a miracle living in proof. No matter how bad you have had it, no matter what your past story is, it does not matter. Your mindset is your life. You can change your life with your mindset. I am going to change lives when I teach. I am going to help people combine the strength of their body with the power of their mind and their lives are going to move, just like their bodies in my class. I cannot wait!
