Hi Kaneka, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Ageless Connections LLC was created in 2022 for a mix of reasons, but truly because I wanted to set myself apart from being the average “agent” who was giving mediocre service to a population I hold near and dear to my heart. Senior care is a passion of mine, and I have had the privilege and honor of caring for elders, even starting with my grandparents. I remember the constant doctor’s appointments, phone calls, forgetting groceries, needing care 24/7, and the list continues. I wanted to develop a service that provides elite care that is all-inclusive of services that assist seniors in any level of care needed. I decided to create a comprehensive service that offers solutions for various situations within the geriatric population, starting with housing options for seniors in independent living, assisted living, senior care homes, and even memory care communities if needed. Every client I take on has a different story and starting point; my job is to find the best recommendation to solve the issues presented.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story. Has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
Has it been a smooth road? Ha Ha! I wish I had a better answer, but in short, absolutely not; however, the lessons I have learned have prepared me to handle anything life throws at me. I am now very mindful of the collaborations and partnerships that I make, as well as the business appointments that I take. I want to think of myself as very thoughtful in my business ventures, and I am careful to ensure that I align with those with the same vision and heart to serve others as I do. Reciprocity is a very colossal motto I live by.

As you know, we’re big fans of your work. What can you tell our readers who might need to be more familiar with it?
Ageless Connections LLC is a comprehensive senior consulting firm specializing in helping clients navigate the aging process and assisting with care needs. Primarily, I will focus on relocation to various levels of independent living, assisted living, senior care homes, and even memory care communities if needed. Additional services that can be assisted with can include home care, home health, hospice, Medicare, rehabilitation, and real estate sales. I am known as someone who can handle complex situations, hostile environments, and high levels of care and experience due to my extensive background in behavioral health hospitals and clinics. I am most proud of the legacy I am building and having the opportunity to have my children and peers watch me create this unique, comprehensive service that sets me apart from the rest with the high level of service and attention to detail I give my clients.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
For those that knew of me growing up, I was vocal about what I liked and didn’t like. I was a leader from a very young age. I am the middle child of two brothers, so standing on my own two feet was something I learned very young. My interests growing up were sports. I have been a lover of fitness my entire life, playing various sports throughout my childhood, from volleyball, basketball, track and field, to finally realizing my best options of soccer and softball. Another considerable interest when I wasn’t playing sports was attending our local library and reading. I was fortunate enough to have a grandmother who was a teacher and instilled reading in me at a very young age. I am still an avid reader to this day.
