Meet Kami Pringle

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kami Pringle.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
We started making candles out of our house almost three years ago, selling them online and at markets. Now we are in our first brick-and-mortar right on Craftsman Court and 5th Ave in Scottsdale. We are a family-owned business.

Our candles are made by a private company. Everything is made from scratch and tailored to people who have a ton of allergies like us. We use a safe food-grade paraffin beeswax blend, giving the wax actual physical healing properties.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It was difficult at first due to COVID shutting everything down right when we started. However, since then things have gone really smoothly. We have amazing customers.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
What isn’t there to love about Scottsdale, the community is the best. All the shops over here are small business owners like us trying to make their dreams a reality. The people are so friendly.
