Meet Julliana Garten of J.Garten Design

Today we’d like to introduce you to Julliana Garten.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I am originally from Brazil and graduated from University with an Architecture, Interior Design, City Plan and Landscape Design degree. I worked with the best names in the industry, both in Brazil and USA, until I decided to launch my own company. Since then, I’ve been creating beautiful, unique, personalized, and functional spaces and fashionable jewelry for my remarkable customers. The Jewelry and accessories world is also my passion. I’ve been invited to participate in fashion and Interior Design events, runway shows, magazine publications, TV segments, and I have had the honor of winning multiple awards for my work.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It was a challenge first having English as my second language. Portuguese is my primary language and I also grew up using the metric system which is very different from the system in the US.

J.Garten Design is an Interior Design and Accessories Company focused on creating beautiful, functional and personalized spaces to reflect our client’s style. What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Every client is different and we, as designers, have to use the best of our knowledge to create spaces based on their individual styles and needs. I say #everyclientevrystyle!
