Today we’d like to introduce you to Julianna Farnsworth, Mark + Caree Safsten.

Flybird began in 2014 to create t-shirts with a purpose. Two young moms, Julianna & Rachel, came together to create shirts that reminded people of the good around them and radiated positivity through their graphic tees. After four years of an incredibly successful business, the brand became a family-owned when Mark & Caree Safsten continued the legacy. Flybird is a brand designed for all people to come together and spread joy everyday. The team at Flybird creates tees to be worn all year long. Because of the high-quality materials, value, and messaging that goes into our apparel, no matter what stage and age of life you are in, a Flybird tee can be your “go-to” shirt. That is the power and appeal of Flybird’s high-quality tees.

Our mission is to be a brand that provides inspiring, comfortable, high-quality apparel at a competitive value. We give back to our community, make a positive difference for others and hopefully inspire others to do the same. When you see Flybird, we hope you’re reminded of all the good in the world. Has it been a smooth road?
Not many amazing things in life come from a smooth road, right? No, it’s not all smooth. But it sure is gratifying! We’ve learned lots of lessons along the way that have got us to where we are, and we continue to grow from them and keep growing! Trials are simply opportunities for growth. Remembering that helps us. We have a mission that is good and we trust in God to help us through those obstacles.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Flybird Apparel – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Flybird is known for our statement tees. We have been blessed to be successful in creating positive messages and statements on tees that look different. Our fonts, layouts, messages, and our entire brand set us apart. Our quality has always been and will always be important to us. We’ve always stayed in our own lane and that has been the best thing for us. We steer clear of comparing ourselves to others and focus on what we have. We focus on what we can bring to the world that is different, bold and unique.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
We have built wonderful genuine relationships with others and we love and cherish that because those feel hard to come by. That is what we hope to see more of is small businesses come together and support each other. Lifting each other up in every way is the best thing we can do for one another.
