Meet Joseph Osuch of Arizona 4×4 OffRoad Recovery in Mesa

Today we’d like to introduce you to Joseph Osuch.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I first own wild west towing and OffRoad recovery in the 90s. The towing part was a good business but there wasn’t much use for author recovery at that time. I sold that company in 1o99 to a friend and open Wild West Paintball Park. Around 2007/2008 my friend that I sold my towing company was telling tell me he was getting more call for OffRoad recovery work and he didn’t have a vehicle to do that in. So I started Arizona 4×4 OffRoad recovery in 2008.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Sure like any business it was a slow start and I just kept at it going to off-road events, car shows, joining off-road clubs of all kinds. Going to their meetings. A lot of Club still to this day will invite me to their monthly meeting to talk about what I do and usually I’ll tell her call recovery story it’s all about networking.

Arizona 4×4 OffRoad Recovery – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
What I do is when people go off-roading and they get in trouble where they get stuck or they break down or they even roll their vehicle upside down I’m the guy that goes out there 24/7 and brings them home safely. I’m thankful that over the last 10 years I’ve built up a good reputation in the off-road world I’ve been featured in a few off-road magazines and wherever I go people want to talk to the recovery guy. The recovery truck is called Tweety because of its bright yellow color a friend of mine Fernando name it that when we first painted the truck in 2009 his shop in Mesa. The truck and myself get tagged wherever we go driving down the road because of my social media contacts to Facebook and they will take a picture and post, look there goes Tweety down Broadway

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I define success and customer service I pride myself and answering the phone where there are some other companies that try and do what I do but they never answer the phone and I answer my phone 24/7 365 days a year. Did my phone message I explain what to do if they’re in trouble if they cannot reach me it’s only because I’m in an area where I have no cell service and to leave a message and I’ll call them as soon as I get back in range. It’s always all about the customer and what they need if they need me to bring food and water to them. Contact their loved ones. Whatever it takes to get them home safely. If you look on my Facebook page or my guest book on my website you’ll see many people have commented on my services and I’m lucky to have that kind of response.
