Meet Jordan and Morgan McSweeney of SVS Physical Therapy in Goodyear

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jordan and Morgan McSweeney.

Jordan and Morgan, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
We are a husband and wife team with a passion for helping people! It has been a dream for both my wife and I to own our own clinic since college. We knew we loved educating people about proper movement, helping them fix their pain, and accomplish fitness goals.

After college, we both went to work for corporate companies and simply weren’t satisfied. We felt as though we weren’t able to give the care and guidance we were fully capable of. With the help and support of our family and friends, we leaped and decided to open our own Physical therapy + Personal training clinic called SVS Physical Therapy. Morgan’s bother is even our marketing director, really making this a true family run operation.

I (Jordan) am the physical therapist and performance trainer. My wife (Morgan) is an exercise specialist.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There were multiple challenges along the way. We lost our first building location, however, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise as we love where we are located now. We are all brand new to running a business, so learning through trial and error when it came to the ins and outs of establishing a new company. We had spent many years in school and through experience perfecting our craft, however, when it came to marketing ourselves we had no idea where to begin.

Please tell us about your business.
SVS Physical Therapy is a physical therapy + personal training clinic located in Goodyear, AZ. We are known for providing 1 on 1 care, whether you are in need of physical therapy or personal training. Our physical therapy approach is designed to fit the need of each patient and promote proper movement through individualized strength and mobility programs.

Our training program starts with individualized programming tailored to fit the specific needs of our clients while providing a fun family feel environment where you achieve your fitness goals.

We are most proud of the time and effort we put into our patients + clients. We genuinely love to help people move and feel better. We are different because we are truly family owned and operated, so when you walk through our doors you are treated like family.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
The proudest moment of my career so far is to own and operate this company with my wife everyday.
