Meet John Perrott III of Cheshire Visions Photography in Buckeye

Today we’d like to introduce you to John Perrott III.

John, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started back in 2005/2006, in Central New York, just outside of Rome (Home of Woodstock ’99). A friend wanted to do some photo work for a convention, so he convinced me to get some gear to help out as well. I grew a liking to being behind the camera & capturing the world as I saw it through my lens. From there, I started shooting nature, landscape, and car shows. When I moved to Arizona, I was approached by a local band, Lost in Atlantis (now located in Los Angeles) to take photos of them at an event at Arrowhead Mall. From there I met more local bands, Frequis, We Were Strangers, Covela, Halocene, just to name a few. After I was introduced into the local modeling groups and started photographing people more.

I’ve come a long way with my eye, my style, and my craft. As time has moved on, my gear has gotten better, my work has gotten better, and I have learned a lot throughout the last 13/14 years. I’ve shot a large variety of different styles; landscape, cars, bands, models, cosplay, fantasy, mermaids and much more.

Fast forward to now, and I have a studio in the 2nd floor loft of my home. The whole upstairs is my studio space, including the studio to photograph, a makeup/changing room, and a bathroom. Overall it’s a 700+ sqft space that is a joy to have. My focus is now creating a unique experience for each one of my clients. I now work with more of a Vanity Fair cover shoot style, shooting more Contemporary and Glamour Portraiture.

I look forward to showing each client that walks through my door the true beauty that resides within them, bringing them to their full power, possibly rediscovering a part of them they may have lost, or didn’t even know existed.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As a lot of businesses will go through, it’s been a rocky road, but it’s starting to smooth out, hopefully working out for the better.

Please tell us about your business.
I am the ‘eye’ behind Cheshire Visions Photography. I specialize in Contemporary/Glamour Portraiture. I am known for my unique editing style. I am most proud of being able to show my clients a part of themselves that they may have hidden away, lost touch with, or never knew existed. What sets me apart is my recognizable editing style. It’s something that’s unique that I’ve worked on and to become known for the last few years.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
The fact that I’m genuine and bring a more tailored client experience. Showing each client that they are important to me and their happiness in the result is my goal.

  • My Session Fee is $190 Which includes: Pre-Session Consultation, Makeover (For up to 2 people), Photo Session & Reveal.
