Meet Jimmy Maler and Noeleen Sese of Vintageous furniture & design

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jimmy Maler and Noeleen Sese.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Jimmy and Noeleen. So, let’s start at the beginning, and we can move on from there.
We are native Clevelanders and friends since elementary school, entrepreneurs and artistic, creative thinkers. We have had our journeys continue to intersect and reconnect at every turn. Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction could be the biggest step of your life…

So, along with our rescue pup Frankie, we embraced our common passion for alternative health and wellness while chasing the endless treasure hunt for retro and vintage gems. Our collective ambition and belief in endless possibilities aligned and we took the leap!

We decided to take a chance and realize our dream of opening our own vintage boutique and style brand. Staging, treasure hunting, collecting and sharing our passion and enthusiasm for nostalgia and interior design expressed in “Vintageous Life.”

Has it been a smooth road?
We seem to always take the road less traveled, and obstacles are plenty. But we embrace the challenge to persevere and keep moving forward. Holding ourselves accountable and reaching our goals is very rewarding. We focus on the journey and not the destination.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Vintageous furniture & design story. Tell us more about the business.
Our vision for Vintageous is an eclectic journey back in time to surround ourselves with treasures that are personal and meaningful to make any house a home.

We want our customers to be able to reconnect with their fond memories and share them in a functional and expressive way outside of the copy paste style box.

Our concept is primarily vintage furniture and decor, but we do consider ourselves a lifestyle brand. Under that muse, we also include our love for Pups, Babies and Upcycle. We rescue and repurpose everything from fashion apparel to furniture and accessories.

We also offer interior design, space planning, staging, organizing and down-sizing in addition to retail sales.

What do you know now that you wish you knew when you were just starting out?
We would have started sooner! Any obstacles along the way challenged us and pushed our problem solving and creativity. Our lessons learned…. empower yourself, live in the moment but enjoy the past and have a great life!
