Meet Jill Cerutti

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Jill Cerutti . Jill was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Gina Marie Leingang.

Jill, can you walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
After 30 years as a Hospitality Executive, two marriages, three amazing kids and two successful divorces – I found myself curious about what my true purpose was. I spent the better part of my life on a plane or in a hotel, always racing home back to my family. Life was busy and there was so much SHIT to do… ALL THE TIME!

As a woman, your world can get crowded with overwhelming to-do lists and the pressure to do all the things and do them well. You put your own passions on hold and lose sight of what makes you, YOU. You can easily get stuck in the mire of “not enoughness” which is a true epidemic in the culture we live in.

Just after turning 50, my dad had just passed away, my mom moved in with me so we could care for her, my daughter had a major surgery and with some unexpected information I realized, huh, “I am going to need to get divorced.” This is where the soul searching began. I knew for certain that this was MY time for personal growth and starting a relationship with myself all over again.

When I started my own journey with life coaches, reiki masters, and energy healers, I knew right away that this would be a part of my life forever. I knew this would be what I do somehow, someway. I could not get enough, session after session, class after class I became more curious. Every corner I turned, each lesson unfolded, the more I craved to expand myself to gain the knowledge to help others. This journey of curiosity only can lead to one place for us all…growth. If we are not growing, then what does it all mean?

Years of executive leadership, raising a family while doing ALL THE THINGS led me to where I am today. I knew that each “lesson” was a gift, every painful bit of it showed me where I needed to grow and trust myself the most. I was energized by the knowledge I was learning about MYSELF, the possibilities were endless and this Fan-Fuckingtastic life of mine was transforming before my eyes.

Let’s talk about your work and career – what else should we know?
My learning journey in energy healing, plant medicine and coaching, has guided me to develop my approach to manifesting the life your soul truly desires, The Gorgeous Soul. I started The Gorgeous Soul to empower women and bring them together in a way that has never been done before. The Gorgeous Soul, is all about our soul’s journey through this life. We offer holistic wellness retreats in Sonoma County, SOUL SISTERS which brings women together in a transformational, empowering uplifting way. We start with Human Design one on one sessions with Gina Marie and bring that through in our learning and education throughout the retreat. Each day starts with a guided meditation and yoga along the banks of the Russian River. Each evening we gather together to immerse ourselves in a sound bath under the stars. We bring like-minded women together to lift each other up, learn from each other and form a sisterhood that will carry on far past the retreats. Once the retreat is over, you have the opportunity to continue your journey with me. As a holistic transformational coach for women, I help guide women to their next-level self by clearing blocks and resistance in your mental, emotional, physical and spiritual bodies in order to help you operate at the highest frequency. Gina Marie Leingang has been a great friend to us and I know you’ve got a great relationship as well. Maybe you can tell our audience a bit about Gina Marie and your experience with them.
Gina and I became co-workers as Vice Presidents of Sales in the hospitality space. We crossed paths a little in the early years but then had a chance to work much more closely together about 5 years ago. We quickly realized that we both were on spiritual paths and had so much to talk about. While our paths were not the same they were similar in the sense we both loved learning all the new things, we were so excited about our own personal growth and having a Soul Sister made it that much better. We strengthened our bond while taking spiritual classes together, it was very reaffirming to have a friend that understood the journey that I was on and I was able to return the support as she was venturing on her journey as well.
I was hungry for more knowledge on plant-based medicine and how I can personally use it in my life. I am so excited to say that I just graduated from the Plant Medicine program at Cornell and cannot wait to incorporate plant medicine into my Coaching. As Gina and I have discussed our plans for our own businesses we have decided to come together for a special collaboration called BLNCED. As we both lived a similar life in our careers and have faced our challenges with work -life balance, we know firsthand how desperately the corporate world needs BLNCED.
BLNCED brings holistic wellness and balance to the most valuable resource any corporation has, its PEOPLE! Similar to the retreats The Gorgeous Souls provides, BLNCED brings retreats with a combination of human design, releasing blocks through energy healing tools, mediation practices, time and space for yoga at the office, healthy eating guidance, and personal one on one sessions with the team. We are developing an app that each team member will have access to that provides daily mediations, yoga practices, and much more.
Our programs are between six months to one year, which includes one off site retreat and two onsite retreats where we and our team go into the office environment and hold sessions, workshops, mediations, sound bath Healings and more. We have an extensive menu of modalities to choose from, so each package is custom to that company’s needs. We are also planning a podcast where we talk about our journey as we transition from the corporate world to the holistic health world!
