Meet Jessica Wiley

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Wiley.

Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
I am a native of Tucson Arizona which is where my love for the beautiful desert scenery comes from also a mother of 3 young children ages 7, 5 and three which is the most important job in the world. I have always loved all things photography and decided to put my eye for it to the test. I started my business professionally about four years ago and grew to love it more and more each day. Seeing the ideas myself and my clients put together from start to finish gives me such satisfaction. Watching their families grow over the years and getting to capture all of it from behind my lens makes me so excited to do my job and passion each and every day.

Please tell us about your art.
My goal as an artist/photographer is to capture moments for my clients that would otherwise be forgotten. Making everyone see how beautiful they and their growing families are when I deliver the photos is so empowering to me. Capturing the little smiles, hugs, interactions from behind my camera gives them a true sense of the love they have for their families and themselves.

Choosing a creative or artistic path comes with many financial challenges. Any advice for those struggling to focus on their artwork due to financial concerns?
Just keep at it! Start small with the means you are given and as time and your hard work pay off continue to educate yourself on your art and invest in yourself. You will get where you want to be with hard work, dedication and a good support system.

How or where can people see your work? How can people support your work?
I am a firm believer in supporting small business owners which is after all what I am. I do have a website, but I have to say social media and word of mouth are my best friends in this business. I have a Facebook and Instagram page as well as a 5-star rating on Yelp.
