Meet Jess Bussanich and Vanessa Costello of Phoenix

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jess Bussanich and Vanessa Costello.

Hi Jess and Vanessa, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Our story goes back, way back. We have been friends for over ten years, and we have each watched one another pursue our dreams and grow in our careers. Jess started competitively dancing at a young age and turned that passion into a teaching career for the past 15+ years. Her experience in the dance world provided ample opportunity to hone her craft of working with a variety of people, networking, and planning events. Vanessa’s background is in managerial and organizational communication and she has a masters in Psychology. Her passion to help people led her into a variety of project management roles including planning two weddings, baby showers, and a handful of bachelorette parties.

We had the opportunity to work on a few creative projects together and through the support of our friends and family encouraging our partnership it gave us the spark to take it to the next level.

Every bride has been there; endless hours of Pinterest scrolling, gasping at how much everything is, not knowing where to start, or how not to break the piggy bank in the process. In our experience, we knew there had to be a way to share our knowledge and expertise of having a memorable bachelorette without breaking the bank, or going crazy over all the details!

We decided to start Bach on a Budget because we believe every bride deserves an epic bash, no matter her budget.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
We are just starting out and are excited to see where this journey takes us! We have a clear understanding that the path may be bumpy along the way, but in the past our friendship has helped us overcome, learn, and grow from those times. Since we decided to start Bach on a Budget the road has been smooth and provided opportunities for us to get our name out there.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Currently, Jess is an artistic director in a dance studio based in Scottsdale, AZ as well as a director for a renown dance convention that tours across the country. Vanessa is a Project Analyst for web based development in higher education, and spends her free time exploring her passions as a lifestyle photographer and virtual assistant for a luxury wedding planner in Scottsdale, AZ.

We are most proud of the fact we are chasing our dreams and combining our skills sets to create Bach on a Budget. We are different because our goal is to help create memorable bachelorettes, no matter the budget.

What does success mean to you?
To us, success is having joy in what you’re doing. We both love helping other people have memorable moments, and to have a hand in making those ideas, or dreams, come true is how we define success. Oh, and of course, have a little fun in the process!
