Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Innocenti.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Jennifer. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
My late husband Brett started his company in May 2002. He worked tirelessly to build his business. Brett worked day and night in order to give his customers the highest level of satisfaction. Brett always wanted to be a father. We had three boys together and he wanted to be available to them and us. Brett hired Gabe as a technician and bought a second van. The two of them grew the business together.
Eventually, overtime we hired Mike, and Brett was no longer working in the field. We were both stay at home parents, totally involved in our sons’ activities and school. Unfortunately, Brett suffered a head injury in April of 2016 which left him changed. Just three weeks later he died by suicide. I took over his business and with the help from our employees and family, we’ve been able to keep the business alive! It was always Brett’s dream to own the business and collect a paycheck forever, but never to “work” the business. I’ve since relocated our family to the beaches of California; another dream of ours. My amazing technician Gabe and sister Wendy run the business! And as they say, I just sign their checks! I’m very grateful to all of our family, friends, and customers who have helped us out over the years in countless ways. Epic Carpet and Tile would not be the family we are today if it wasn’t for them!
Has it been a smooth road?
Not smooth at all! The death of the owner, my husband Brett. Also, with COVID.
We’d love to hear more about the business.
We are a carpet and tile cleaning business that does: carpet, grout, tile, natural stone, showers, counters, upholstery, rugs, vehicles, commercial and residential. I’m so proud of my employees for the way they came together to support us. We are different than other companies because we do not up-sell our products. The price you are quoted is that or under. We also take the time to do it right. To us, this means we will come back out to the job for free until you are completely satisfied. We also offer a money back guarantee if you are not happy!
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I am a 4th generation AZ native so I love it all!
