Meet Jennifer and Josh Daniels of Pro Outdoor Services in Scottsdale

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer and Josh Daniels.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Jennifer and Josh. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Pro Outdoor Services was founded ten years ago as an irrigation system installation and repair company. As the company’s customer base and referral network grew over the first few years, our services expanded to include misting systems, landscape lighting, sod installation, and other common landscape services. A few years back, Pro Outdoor Services went a step further and decided to restructure into a complete landscape design and installation company. A lot of research was done to create a landscape design and build firm that would be unlike all the others in the Valley. With the discovery of 3D virtual reality design software for landscapes and our love for technology, we were able to create a solution for our clients that allows them to walk through their landscape design via virtual reality right inside of our studio. Using this technology, clients are able to see their future landscape in 3D while being able to feel the space true to size. This allows for an immersive experience and for clients to be able to know exactly how their yard is going to look and feel to scale before ever being built. A lot of growth has happened since our inception and we now recognized as one of the top landscape design and build firms in the Valley.

Has it been a smooth road?
Growing the business from a single irrigation technician to the company it is today has had a lot of challenges along the way. From hiring qualified individuals, to managing the business growth year over year and building the business during a recession, it seemed challenges were always at the forefront. But, our focus has always been making this business the best it can be and building it to be an “uncontractor-like” company where the focus is great communication, high-quality work and complete customer satisfaction. High quality work is our main focus and we want to give our clients not only a great experience working with our company, but build them an outdoor oasis specifically suited to their needs to enjoy their outside environment. We enjoy the outdoors and spending time outside with our children, and love the satisfaction of giving our clients an outdoor space to have those same feelings and enjoyment.

Our company works very hard to ensure our clients are not only satisfied with our work, but so happy with our work that they refer us to their family and friends. For us, it isn’t just about building a project, it’s about giving our clients an outdoor environment that they can truly emmerse themselves in and enjoy their time spent in it. This isn’t just a business to us, this is about truly enjoying what we do and passing that along to our wonderful clients.

We specialize in 3D landscape design immersive experiences, which define us as a company and sets us apart from the rest. It is unlike anything any other landscape design or landscape architecture firm offers at this time. This technology allows our customers to utilize virtual reality to walk through their yard design that is built to scale with life-like graphics to feel how their outdoor space will feel once completed. It allows for design changes to be made before the project is even executed so that our clients know exactly how their yard is going to look, feel and be seen before construction begins. It eliminates the need for a lot of change orders and having a project that isn’t built properly to the confines of the space due to not being able to visibly walk through the project prior to installation.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
We love that the Phoenix area is so diverse. There is such a great palette of residential and commercial landscapes to transform that no two spaces are alike and it allows us to use our creative juices to truly customize each outdoor area we transform. There isn’t anything we can say we dislike about the Valley. We are truly blessed with the great clients that we get to work with and enjoy getting to do what we do each day.
