Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeff Slade.

Jeff, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started DETOURS in 2001 with the passion of taking our guests to the amazing places of The American West. I get to do what I love and love what I do, so I feel very blessed! DETOURS has grown from 2 customize vans to over 20 custom vehicles in Phoenix/Scottsdale, Las Vegas, Nevada, Page, Arizona and St. George, Utah. DETOURS has become the BEST Small Group Tour Company in the West!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
There have always been DETOURS along the way, however, we always find the right path to create the best experience for our guests.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with DETOURS American West – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
DETOURS American West is the know as the Expert Tour Company specializing in National Parks and off the beaten path locations in both the domestic and international markets.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
DETOURS has created two new divisions. Our Native America division will give our customers the opportunity to experience hands-on interactive cultural experiences. DETOURS Native America is one of the only Native American owned companies. DETOURS Adventures division will give customers the opportunity to hike or experience off-road adventures to some of the most remote locations in the West. Our goal is to continue to offer unique experiences that can only be offered by DETOURS American West!
