Meet Jeff Ewing of Learn to Drive

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeff Ewing.

Hi Jeff, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’d say it started with a deep sense of purpose: I wanted to help people build independence. As a father, entrepreneur, and someone who’s seen the challenges of learning to drive, I founded Learn to Drive. We started small, but with a vision to modernize driver education—blending technology, community, and safety. It’s been a journey of scaling, partnerships, and transforming lives. And honestly, we’re just getting started.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t been a smooth ride—and honestly, I’d tell anyone that’s part of the journey. We’ve had to earn trust in the community, adapt to regulations, and balance growth with staying personal. But I coach my team—and myself—that those struggles are how we grow. Each obstacle gave us a chance to serve better, and that’s what drives us forward.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At Learn to Drive, it’s bigger than just driving—we’re empowering independence. We’re known for combining real-world instruction with cutting-edge applications. One of those apps helps students find certified schools, while the other equips instructors. What sets us apart? We meet each person where they are, blending personalized coaching with tech to make learning seamless. What I’m most proud of is how we’re changing lives—not just with lessons, but with the tools we’re building to serve the whole community.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The biggest lesson? It’s that serving others is the cornerstone of everything. Whether it’s a student nervous behind the wheel or a family looking for safe mobility, I’ve learned that when you put their growth first, success follows. It’s a journey of adapting, listening, and making sure every step we take is rooted in helping others thrive.
