Today we’d like to introduce you to Jaryn Dominique.

Hi Jaryn, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi! My name’s Jaryn Dominique! I’m an AZ local born & raised, I love tacos, and I love helping businesses with their digital marketing. So much so that I opened my own digital agency called Deviant Digital Services.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road, no. However, I’ve come to understand that owning a business is a roller coaster, so there will always be high and low times. You learn to trust the journey and yourself. A most recent example occurred this year. With the changes in the economy, many clients were evaluating their budgets and cautious of investing in their businesses. So Deviant doubled down on marketing for our own services and ended up branching into new niches we hadn’t explored before. It’s opened up more growth for our business and expanded our impact even further. Truly an example of when a door closes, another opens. You just have to keep working and trust what you know.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next, you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Our business Deviant Digital Services is exactly what it sounds like. We help businesses with digital marketing by running digital ads, building websites, optimizing websites for Google (SEO), or managing social media. If it’s online, we do it! We work with small businesses directly, but we also offer white-labeled services that can be integrated as much into your team as you need. We have experience working with many different niches, but some standouts are B2B, Health & Wellness, E-commerce, legal & real estate, bar/restaurant, and so many more!

What I’m most proud of for the DDS brand is that we’re offering a different solution for our customers. Most agencies try to fit you into a package with set services and overpriced rates; then, they roll out the same strategy for everyone. Or people try to do it themselves, but without the proper experience, you’ll waste a lot of time and money. DDS empowers our clients to Be A Deviant and choose their paths to fit their specific marketing needs. Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
To trust yourself and the journey. When you start your own business, unsolicited advice is a dime-a-dozen. Everyone has an opinion of what you’re doing wrong or how you can improve. Then when you inevitably hit a bump in the road, it’s hard not to let those voices overwhelm you. You have to trust what is within yourself, find your own peace, then get to work and make something special that only you can offer!
