Meet James Tomlin of Nomaly Creation in West Side of Phoenix

Today we’d like to introduce you to James Tomlin.

So, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
For starters, comedy has always been a natural part of my days growing up in St. Louis, MO, and this is because my family are all very comical and talented. Music was also very instrumental due to my mother singing in her band and would rehearse at the house before going to a performance. So between her playing music on a regular throughout the house or rehearsing for a performance, we were all doused with music from sun up to sundown. I’m also an artist of most measures so naturally fashion was a big part of my day to day life and with that I decided to create a brand that reflects these aspects of my personality.

I took on the stage name NOMALY (nom-uh-lee) because people would always say that I was an anomaly due to how unique I was in my creativity and also being able to pull off comedy, music and a host of other things at a professional level.

So NOMALY CREATION (which houses a few of my other “related” companies Billion 3 Studios/James Tomlin Publishing & NOMALY Records) was born. This is where I produce content from Fashion designs, Movie and TV scripts, Acting performances, Stand up Comedy, Music and Entertainment events.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Oh no by no means has it been smooth. Some of the struggles was simply due to timing and others due to a lack of funds. For example, I had callbacks for TV shows and even for televised Stand up performances but there was also some family responsibilities I had to attend, too which didn’t allow me the time to go back and take those opportunities. Fortunately, I never burned bridges and was able to act in some major commercials and do some voice over work and eventually produced my own content and am working on new projects as we speak.

As far as the music business goes… there are a lot of peaks and valleys in connection with getting “on” so to speak. It’s a money and popularity game at the end of the day, and you need a lot of money if you want to use gorilla marketing tactics to get your music in front of everyone via the traditional venues to gain said “popularity”. Early on, I did not have enough capital to invest in that area so I decided to continue to create content and build a fan base momentum slowly but solidly.

The same thing goes for the fashion arena… I started off trying to design and manufacture my shoes and clothing and ended up with so much inventory sitting around my house. There is so much money to invest upfront to have your designs made up but also you need marketing dollars to put these items on the correct celebrities and push that in front of the masses.

I decided to put some of those things on hold for some years while I amassed my own wealth and my own celebrity to eventually fund and promote my projects.

Please tell us about Nomaly Creation.
As I said NOMALY CREATION is where I produce content from Fashion designs, Movie and TV scripts, Acting performances, Stand up Comedy, Music and Entertainment events. NOMALY CREATION follows my own core values and that is to vibrate on a frequency of Love. Anyone who has worked with me will probably tell you that I am very generous in not only my performances but in the opportunities I provide.

With NOMALY CREATION, I want to see everyone succeed in their goals and to feel happy and fulfilled with their experience. In a nutshell, I never make it all about me… it’s about the supporters and those who are participating in that task. I believe that we are all rewarded internally just by giving and helping others reach a goal. I believe this is what sets NOMALY CREATION apart from other companies and I am very proud of this.

Most of my fans and supporters may not be aware that this is my company and product. I created Safe Reach Vehicle Wallet with one main purpose in mind… To preserve Life!

We are all important and deserve to live in a safe environment, and law enforcement is obliged to help support that. We value the safety of those supportive officers who do not discriminate but instead only use good moral sense and empathy when approaching a vehicle. We also of course support civilians pulled over, whether they have a criminal record or not! We all should have a chance to live and go through the proper channels set in place to keep a safe peaceful society.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I honestly do not believe in “luck”. I think that there is a very real thing in “energy” and the law of attraction. My subconscious thinking has played a major part in my successes and failures throughout this time. With that being said… even in my failures, I’ve grown to succeed. Failures are apart of success and is a good teaching method if respected and perceived correctly for one to get up and move forward with a better perspective and plan to win.
