Meet Jae Vonne Teague of She Talks Life in Central Phoenix

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jae Vonne Teague.

Jae Vonne, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
About four years ago I realized I was not living out my dreams and purpose. I had suffered a great deal at the hands of depression and anxiety and wanted to reclaim my peace of mind and the vision for my future I had always had in mind for myself. I had just given birth to my first child and found myself in a rut like most first time mommies do.

I decided at that moment I would start a simple blog just to get reacquainted with my love for writing. The name She Talks Life was a declaration that through my creative expression I would establish a space for encouragement for myself and eventually to others. The creation of my blog started a spark in me to push beyond my fears and jump headfirst into one of my greatest life goals – TV Hosting! After a few years, She Talks Life would be the brand that I would ultimately begin my pursuit of becoming an inspirational talk show host and motivational speaker.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
One of the biggest challenges I have had when attempting to grow the She Talks Life’s fan base is to daily set my mind on the #1 goal of the platform; which is to uplift the spirits of the audience, be it ever so slightly!

That requires me to daily look past my own shortcomings and daily failures and tap into a part of my soul that is self-less. That requires a certain level of self-discipline that I lean into daily.

She Talks Life is the website in which I host an inspirational Blog, video segments of encouraging and practical life tips, my own story of overcoming a life of fear and anxiety and a FREE e-book of my 5 Fear Busting Tips! The blog has been featured on 3 TV’s Your Life Arizona and she also had the honor of being featured on the show offering inspirational tips to their audience. I recently began hosting my very own She Talks Life Interview segments for entrepreneurs who, just like me, have had to overcome their own personal obstacles to live a purpose-driven life!

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
My ultimate goal is to have STL become the brand in which I launch a Nationally syndicated talk show inspiring women of all walks of life. 2020 marks the year where I branch out and begin interviewing more people, writing and producing even more fun and engaging posts and video segments and be even more impactful in the community; all for the sake of empowering the beautiful woman of our nation!
