Meet Ivonne Tarazon of beauty by ivonne in Southeastern

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ivonne Tarazon.

Ivonne, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started out doing makeup as a side job for Acacia B. Brows. I would sometimes get clients that would ask for suggestions on the foundation that could cover their imperfections as much as possible. I always wanted to help them another way instead of suggesting a full coverage foundation. I was actually going to nursing school when I decided I wanted to go to aesthetics school instead. The decision wasn’t easy but I am happy I took that chose. I wanted to be able to educate my clients on a good skin care regimen and help them achieve healthy skin. I am now a licensed Aesthetician with Acacia B. Brows at Barnett Salon Suites in Sierra Vista, AZ.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
What has been my biggest obstacle is living in a small town and trying to build up a clientele. It takes a lot of time and dedication to market yourself and get your business out there. I definitely have had to get out of my comfort zone to market myself more and that has been the hardest for me. I can be a bit a introverted extrovert.

We’d love to hear more about your work.
I do makeup, eyebrows and full body waxing. I specialize in dermaplaning and facials customized for your specific skincare needs. I am mostly known for my makeup and dermaplaning. I have worked with many photographers and hairstylists on styled shoots. I am most proud of the excitement I see on clients’ faces after getting a facial and seeing that glow on their skin and just how much better their skin looks. I always knew I wanted to do something that would make people feel good about themselves.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I define success as living my true purpose and having a positive impact on the lives of people by uplifting them spiritually.
