Meet Isaly Marie Acevedo of Muse & Alchemist Body Sculpting Wellness

Today we’d like to introduce you to Isaly Marie Acevedo.

Hi Isaly, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
A Chicago native and certified integrative nutrition coach, with a background in education, I came to Phoenix in 2018 after receiving a word from God that Arizona was where He wanted me.

Three and half years later, in 2022, I was established with a career coaching educators across the country. And then I was unexpectedly laid off from my corporate gig. Within hours , I was on LinkedIn, pouring my heart into resumes for similar roles, finding myself further away from what I was most passionate about; coaching around wellness and working with women. I decided it was time to go into business for myself again. Having learned of body sculpting a year prior, I knew it was exactly what I needed to offer in order to give my clients the same-day results they were looking for that traditional health coaching simply could not do alone.

But why body sculpting? Because in its essence (via the lymphatic system), body sculpting is a wellness treatment that helps women achieve their body, fat-loss, and weight-loss goals faster than standalone health and wellness coaching. And because of the quality of coaching and level of accountability I provide my clients, they experience amazing transformations.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The biggest challenge I’ve faced is having to do it all on my own… at least for now. I have my hands on all parts of the business and it takes a lot of time, dedication, skill-set, discipline, and overall tenacity. It reinforces my belief that you either want the dream or you don’t. And if you do, then you’ll get the work done to actualize it. Looking back, despite obstacles, I have to say the journey has been pretty smooth, praise God.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My specialty in body sculpting is centered around celebrating every client’s body and coaching them to feel healthy, empowered, and confident. I’m here to save the day when dieting and exercise don’t seem to work and to enhance a client’s results when they are! I start with a pre-qualification process to make sure they are healthy enough to undergo non-invasive body sculpting and contouring treatments. If so, we schedule their first appointment. When they arrive, we conduct a consultation and then a physical exam that begins with a celebration of their body. I also ask them to say something nice to themselves in the mirror.

This is where my clients begin their breakthroughs; self-love and self-affirmation are keys to their body positivity and weight/fat-loss transformation. After, I customize a body sculpting treatment protocol for their unique goals and body type. Then the fun happens. The office becomes a sanctuary and the experience gets magical; the lights get low, essential oil mists fill the room, vibey music plays in the background, and fragrant body oils lather our clients’ bodies. All while the fat-reduction, skin tightening, cellulite smoothing, and stretch mark fading science happens!

This is also when coaching, accountability, and often, friendships occur. By the time our clients leave, they feel relaxed, empowered, and more in love with their bodies.

What does success mean to you?
My definition of success is the compound total of lives you positively affected with your work. My success is rooted in serving others, consistent personal and professional development, and staying connected to my Higher Power. Running a small business is challenging. There’s a craft to great customer service.

And doing the entrepreneur journey alone isn’t easy. But when you move with a love for helping others, standards of excellence, and faith in God, your success is inevitable.
