Today we’d like to introduce you to Imani & Iman Lee.
Hi Imani & Iman, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
Our picnic business was passed down to us from Erica Toatley, owner of Tiny Blessings Salon, Spa, & Celebrations.
In the beginning, it started with us just trying to lay the groundwork by buying a sketch pad and telling each other to get creative and whatever we put down on paper is what we would bring to life as far as different picnic packages.
After doing that for a while we started getting acknowledged by people around us in Arizona for being more than just your average luxury picnic business. That’s when we knew we had to keep building our brand, and decided to add slumber parties to our resumé and shortly after that, we complemented those with yard greetings. That is how we became, Lee’s Luxury Outings!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It was not a smooth road in the beginning. We struggled with booking clients and retaining them. Finding out what we could offer made us different. Brainstorming what we could do during the summer so we can get around the heat.
But what we learned was that it all comes with the territory and every problem has a solution.
As you know, we’re big fans of Lee’s Luxury Outings. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
We are family oriented and operated. That means a lot to us at Lee’s Luxury Outings because it is more than just something we say, it is what we stand for. We are known for our Luxury picnics, slumber parties & our yard greetings! Two things that separate us from others are our prices, which we strategically did so anybody could enjoy our services, not just a specific group.
The second difference, I would say is the many different packages we offer. I am most proud that we never changed our values even when things got tough since we started. We want people to know that we truly care about their business and their support means the world to us. We are young entrepreneurs working hard to build generational wealth and this is our first step in our unique way.
