Meet Gabriella Lestinsky

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gabriella Lestinsky.

Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
My grandparents gifted me a camera for my eighth-grade graduation and it immediately sparked my interest in photography. I fell in love with capturing the beauty this world has to offer. I began my photography journey by capturing flowers and other natural wonders. I soon became drawn to photographing people, as it allows for a once in a lifetime moment to be captured and treasured forever.

Please tell us about your art.
The message and inspiration behind my photographs is simply capturing the beauty of the world we live in. There is a quote I read years ago that has stuck with me. The quote reads, “Seek beauty in every person and in every situation.” There is beauty in everyone and everywhere. My mission is to highlight the everyday beauty we sometimes take for granted. I would love for my work to open people’s eyes, not only to the beauty around them, but the beauty within them.

What do you think is the biggest challenge facing artists today?
I believe that the biggest challenge facing artists today is difficulty in getting recognition. It can be hard to get your name and work out there for everyone to see.
