Hi Emily, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey started in a rough spot when I got diagnosed with a chronic illness, but my husband’s been my rock through it all. I’ve learned to take life one day at a time, doing what I can when I can. Flowers became my little escape, bringing a lot of happiness. What’s impressive is that I’ve connected with local small businesses and fellow florists who’ve been like a second family. Their encouragement turned my love for flowers into a shared adventure, making the tough times easier.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
With the challenges of a chronic illness, The unpredictability of my health created a constant balancing act. Some days were more challenging, making it tricky to maintain a consistent pace. Finding that balance between managing my health and pursuing my passion is hard. Still, my husband, family, and friends’ support and understanding of my limitations have kept me going. It’s an ongoing journey, but each struggle has shaped my resilience and determination to keep moving forward.

We’ve been impressed with Bloss.em Flowers, but for folks who might need to be more familiar with yourself, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m a florist specializing in luxurious bouquets, providing services including pick-up, delivery, and event floral arrangements. I’m all about modern vibes. Traditional arrangements are not my thing. I like to make each bouquet memorable, avoiding the usual stuff. It’s not just about flowers; it’s about giving you something fresh and different every time.

What do you think about happiness?
Seeing joy light up the faces of those around me makes me happy. There’s something special about making people laugh and seeing them smile. Their happiness becomes my happiness, creating a positive ripple effect that makes each moment brighter and more fulfilling. My most immense joy is when my husband and kiddos are happy!
