Meet Elliot Logan of Arizona Art Posse in Downtown

Today we’d like to introduce you to Elliot Logan.

Elliot, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
This started as an idea to help artists get their work out and receive the recognition they deserve, no matter how big or small the artist’s reputation. Thanks to social media, it became a reality overnight.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It’s been neither smooth nor a struggle. It’s an ongoing process that I try and dedicate as much time as I can to help it grow. My hope is for it to gain a large follower base where many artists’ work can be seen by as many people as possible.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Arizona Art Posse – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
It’s a nonprofit that focuses on helping others. I find the artists that want to share their work through the Arizona Art Posse social media platforms, put the posts together, and get them online for others to enjoy. I’m proud of everything this stands for, which is helping other artists get their work recognized. I think Arizona Art Posse stands alone from other similar businesses because I focus on letting the artists’ work speak for itself. It only takes one person, or one connection, to see someone’s art and help them make a career out of it.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Future plans are to grow the social media follower base so more people can see and enjoy the art that is shared. If it gets big enough in the future, my hope is to host events for artists to gather and share their artwork in person. This could be a space for artists to network and potentially sell their work.
