Meet Elizabeth Vireich

Today we’d like to introduce you to Elizabeth Vireich.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I was born in Houston, Texas and at the age of six moved to Mexico City; where I lived for the next 20 years. My love towards the arts started since I was a little child. I enjoyed to paint, act, dance and sing as well. Arts have always been by my side. After high school there was a debate on what to study: graphic design or theater, I chose the latter. Theater gave me a vision of life and discipline.

I had excellent teachers who gave it all for us to learn the different methods of acting and to gain more confidence. But not everything was unicorns and rainbows; for an introvert girl like me it was difficult to open myself up to others. So why did I choose to study theater for four years? Well, that’s a good question because it’s what my heart and mind wanted to do at that time! I wanted to be on stage and express myself through various characters.

My college years were amazing and I felt very blessed during that time. After graduating I knew that I wanted to continue pursuing my dreams like everyone else but sometimes life puts you in weird situations like suddenly moving out, starting from zero, financial situations … and the list goes on. Yes, every artist knows the struggle because we feel misunderstood or rejected.

Well, if you truly believe in yourself you without a doubt have a chance at surviving in this industry. Show them what you got and never let your fears drown you. That’s a lesson that I have been learning lately. Arizona is now my home since I moved here three years ago from Mexico. Although I didn’t start right away, I knew that somehow I would be creating art.

Everything started in February of 2018; I did a paid photo shoot with Jacob Naasz. I wanted to have a new book with new looks and the experience gave me more confidence to keep doing it. I’m a plus-sized model and I decided that modeling would be one of my careers; so I now have these amazing photos from various photographers and I’m learning more from all the models I have met in this industry.

I’m very grateful for everyone that has helped me in this journey and my desire is to one day become an inspirational plus-size model.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?Definitely not smooth. Starting from nada; as I said moving was the hardest part. Nowadays, I feel that I have adapted to Arizona even though I missed my city of Mexico at the start; today I feel more safe and happy here. Arizona has provided plenty of opportunities for me to grow professionally in my craft and to meet wonderful people.

We’d love to hear more about what you do.
I have been known for being creative and I love to portray different looks. From cosplay to a little dark and classic beauty and what I absolutely love to do is to have quality and uniqueness in all of my photo shoots. I try to give it everything I got in front of the camera. I feel that I am going into the character and that I create stories with my photos. I want them to tell you what I’m feeling, what my intentions are and purposes.

I aspire to do a high fashion couture photo shoot someday. That would be a dream. Fashion is everything to me.

How do you define success?
For me, success is arriving on time for a photo shoot, it is continuing to work with my mind and body, for me success is giving credit to my photographers and having a positive impact on the people I meet. For me, success is getting good prestige in the industry, helping the new models or photographers and loving what I do.
