Today we’d like to introduce you to Elizabeth Mackenzie.

Hi Elizabeth, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
Hi! I’m Elizabeth, a midwest native now a resident of the desert. I’ve been here for two years and continue to build my business and network in the valley. I have an integrative skin studio offering modern and holistic treatments designed to Elevate your Mind, Skin, and Soul. I dealt with skin issues when I was younger, as well as emotional trauma. Through healing my skin and mental health, I’ve acquired experience along the way to now be blessed to help others. I hope to encourage and inspire others from my story to be the best versions of themselves!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I’ve had my fair share of highs and lows in life. I lost a close friend when I was younger in a car accident that we were in together that caused me to tailspin. The positive, energetic girl I used to be was gone. I became extremely depressed and unhealthy, leading to severe acne. Everything piled on top of one another, and I had to make a change. I went to school to learn about skin and heal my own. I also began to take care of myself through a healthy lifestyle and working on my relationship with God. I’ve also had my share of beautiful moments I wouldn’t trade for anything. These moments gave me the strength to propel forward and create the life and business I have today.

We are an integrative skin studio offering both modern and holistic treatments. I specialize in transformations. Through healing from a holistic approach, I offer energy and sound meditations in my practice. Must address any internal imbalances. Those approaches are combined with modern-day technology and science to get your skin results! I also offer outings and events to help bring like-minded individuals together to thrive!

What characteristic of yours would you give the most credit if you had to?
Resiliency. No matter how often life has thrown me curve balls, I still manage to dodge them. Or at least get back up slowly after they hit me! Even when I’ve wanted to give up, I still make small strides toward my success. You then look back and realize those small steps were still getting you somewhere. They are still forward, no matter how slow. I’m glad that I kept going!
