Meet Duhamel aka DJ DU Cassell of CasSTAR Entertainment in Metro, Tucson and Nashville

Today we’d like to introduce you to Duhamel aka DJ DU Cassell.

Duhamel, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
After leaving my job in the country nightclub industry I started my own company 5 years ago working out of Nashville but living and expanding in Arizona.

I was signed and represented by CAA (Creative Artist Agency) as a touring artist performing and touring with the likes of Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line, Carrie Underwood and more. After the Jason Aldean Burn It Down tour I found a thirst for knowledge of all things entertainment.

With that I started Casstar Entertainment LLC. It is a one stop shop to help artist further their passion in entertainment. From song writing, recording, publishing, concert and venue managing, booking, social media and career planning and mentoring, Casstar supplies all services to get artist going from people who play stadiums and arenas like myself.

Has it been a smooth road?
I know it sounds cooler and say it was a bumpy road but for me it wasn’t. I have always been a hard worker and my reputation on the national scene has been well documented. My credit history in entertainment is hard to beat and I’m blessed every day for the opportunity to help others.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
You can’t beat the weather.

I also think the creative community is amazing and doesn’t get the respect cities like New York, Austin, LA and Nashville get. I wasn’t to change that!! I also love the diverse culture. Plus we are close to Vegas 🙂

I hate the traffic. It seems to be getting worse and worse the last few years. I guess that comes with the territory of a growing city.
