Meet Dru Wes

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dru Wes.

So, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Born Andrew Wesley on January 14, 1995, in Detroit, Michigan. I’ve been singing since I was in elementary school. Over the years I produced and written songs for various artists, also for myself. Growing up, I discovered Motown music, 80s R&B/Hip Hop, Pop, and smooth rock music; this is what inspired me to make my own sound. I’m big on charity and giving back to my community as much as I can by attending high schools to influence the youth to stay in school and follow their dreams or putting together charity events such as a Stop The Violence basketball game and a music showcase to feed the homeless. My motive is to spread happiness and positive through my music and through my actions.

What else should we know?
I am mostly known for my performing abilities. I give an energy base performance where I dance and sing several of my best songs from over the years. I’m most proud to have worked with any many great artists and traveling the country singing.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
My work ethic, my marketing, and my love for entertainment has been the root of my success.
