Meet Dreva Renello of Beach Seven Hair

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Dreva Renello.

Hi Dreva, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
It all started with me spraying perfume in my hair before going to a party. I had so many people coming up to me telling me I smelled amazing. I thought to myself is this a thing?

I decided to do some research and see if Hair Perfume is a thing. I didn’t want to re-create the wheel. I wanted to make sure this was a product that people were already interested in buying. It turns out it is.

So, I found a manufacturer and got to work! Voila Beach Seven Hair was created. I ended up going on an Entrepreneur Reality show featuring Beach Seven Hair and had my hair perfume featured on the Cocktales Podcast.

I’ve gotten so many opportunities through my business, and I’m so happy I started. My plan is to start having brand trips and connecting with my audience more. It’s only up from here.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
As for the obstacles and challenges I’ve faced in my business, one significant hurdle has been the limited capital available for inventory and advertising.

Balancing the need to invest in quality products while promoting them effectively has been a constant challenge. However, through strategic planning, creative solutions, and a commitment to finding alternative resources, we have been able to navigate these financial constraints and continue to grow our business.

Remember, obstacles are opportunities in disguise. Embrace challenges as a chance to innovate, learn, and grow stronger. Stay resilient, stay focused, and never lose sight of your entrepreneurial spirit.

When I started Beach Seven Hair, I wanted to create a beach-inspired hair and skin care line with products centered around spending the day at the beach. I chose a beach theme for the brand because when wearing our products, I wanted you to look and feel like you’re on a luxurious vacation.

For me, having great-smelling hair and skin is so important. Your scent is one of the first things people notice about you when they meet you.

Your scent will always leave a lasting impression. There are a lot of brands that have great smelling hair care products but they don’t incorporate body and that’s where Beach Seven Hair comes in. We want our hair’s smell to match the rest of the body so we created products that do just that. Not only do they smell good but they are good for you, they are vegan and cruelty free, also.

Before we let you go, we have to ask if you have any advice for those just starting out.
To young creatives and entrepreneurs just starting out, my advice is to never underestimate the power of perseverance and passion. Remember that success often comes after numerous challenges and setbacks.

Stay focused on your goals, be resilient in the face of obstacles, and keep pushing forward even when the going gets tough. Believe in your vision, trust in your abilities, and never give up on your dreams.
