Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Courtney Johnson.
Hi Dr. Courtney, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always been curious about how people move, heal, and show up in their lives. My journey started as a physical therapist, but it quickly became about more than just medicine or exercise and it became about understanding myself and helping others understand themselves.
Along the way, I’ve faced burnout, perfectionism, and the pressure to perform at a high level in everything I do. I’ve had to learn the hard way that pushing through doesn’t equal thriving, and that your worth isn’t tied to your output or how much you do for others. Those experiences taught me how to slow down, listen to my body, and honor my own blueprint instead of trying to follow someone else’s.
Today, I’m someone who’s passionate about helping women reconnect with themselves, find confidence in their bodies, and build lives that feel true to who they are. But I’m also still figuring it out, still learning, and still navigating my own challenges just like everyone else. That’s what drives me, what keeps me curious, and what makes me show up every day.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Definitely not a smooth road but I don’t think growth ever is. One of the biggest challenges has been stepping outside of the traditional healthcare model. As a physical therapist specializing in pelvic health, I often faced the misconception that pelvic floor therapy (especially online) doesn’t work or that women just have to “live with” issues like incontinence, pain, or postpartum changes. Building a business around something that most people weren’t even talking about meant I had to educate, advocate, and prove the value of this work over and over again.
Another challenge has been navigating the business side of things. I’ve always been passionate about helping people, but running and scaling a business is a whole different skill set. From figuring out marketing and sales to learning how to invest wisely and build sustainable systems it hasn’t always been easy. There are always times of self-doubt and uncertainty, but those moments forced me to grow into the kind of leader and business owner I am now. So while the road has had bumps, I see them as the reason I’m able to do what I do now.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I run Three Sixty Wellness, a women’s health and wellness practice that blends physical therapy, strength and conditioning, education, and lifestyle coaching to help women feel strong, confident, and in control of their bodies and lives. My focus is on pelvic health, postpartum recovery, strength training, and building sustainable lifestyle habits all with the goal of helping women live fully without compromise.
What sets us apart is our 1:1 personalized, whole-person approach. Too often, women get cookie-cutter advice: “Do these exercises,” “Follow this plan,” or “Just push through.” But every body, every story, and every life stage is different. We meet women where they are, create customized plans, and give them the tools and education to not just heal, but thrive.
I’m most proud of the community and empowerment we’ve built. Beyond appointments and programs, we provide a space where women can ask questions, share experiences, and learn without judgment. The real win for me is seeing women reclaim confidence in their bodies, rebuild their strength, and realize they don’t have to settle for someone else’s blueprint for success or health.
For readers, I want them to know that Three Sixty Wellness isn’t just about treatment it’s about long-term transformation and education. Whether it’s recovering from a postpartum body, overcoming pain, or building a sustainable strength and wellness routine, we help women own their health and their lives, fully and unapologetically.
What does success mean to you?
Success is showing up fully as myself, honoring my values, and feeling aligned in my body, mind, and spirit. It’s about building a life that feels sustainable, joyful, and authentic not one that looks perfect on the outside.
It’s the ability to celebrate progress without tying my worth to output. It’s carving out space to rest, reflect, and grow.. Success is living MY own blueprint, not someone else’s.
