Meet Donovan Reese and Ryan Muzzarelli of The Unflippers in Central Phoenix

Today we’d like to introduce you to Donovan Reese and Ryan Muzzarelli.

Ryan and Donovan met through Entrepreneurs Organization while they were both running their previous businesses in the real estate field. After both leaving their respective companies, they decided to partner up to start The UnFlippers, with the intention of disrupting the flipping industry. Having an extensive and diverse background in real estate, from residential resale, property management, wholesaling/flipping, renovations, to full development projects, they were ready for a new challenge where they could really make a difference in the lives of the people that they serve.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The UnFlippers model has never been done before, so we had to build the entire model from scratch. There are a lot of moving pieces that need to fit together to make the process a seamless experience for the homeowner. Additionally, there are a quite a few different regulatory challenges that we’ve had to work through. Being a brand new model that’s very disruptive, we’ve had to create awareness and educate everyone on the unique solution that we provide. While it has been very challenging, it has been a fun challenge for us.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with The Unflippers – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
The Unflippers was created to be able to provide more and better options to homeowners when it comes to selling their largest asset, their home. By truly being a customer-centric business, we can sit down with the homeowner and develop a solution with them, that fits their wants and needs from the process. We believe that no one should sell an ugly house. We believe that those who have put the time and money into their homes, should be the ones who reap the equity from it, not some house bandit. Because of that, we have created a solution to provided the resources to homeowners to get their home to a condition where it will maximize the profit when we assist them in the sale of their home. We do this all with no money out of pocket to the homeowner.

We also believe in doing well by doing good. Because of that, we are very involved in giving back to our local communities. We promote different charities and organizations through our website, marketing and events that we host. Our clients can also to donate a portion of the proceeds they make by Unflipping their home, to the charity of their choice and The Unflippers will match a portion of the donation to their charity as well.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We are looking to take The Unflippers national and are excited to help other homeowners in other parts of the country get unstuck from their homes.
