Today we’d like to introduce you to Diana Hernandez

Diana, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
When starting my little business, it was because I wanted to help people. That’s still my goal.
I earned my certification in Aromatherapy January of 2023. I started experimenting with simple things that my family could use. A blend for anxiety/depression. A blend for insomnia. Then I started thinking “there are other people in this world that could use these little blends to help. Why not?” With that one question, I got started and Essentials By Diana was created. My first market for selling my blends was October 2023. I only did maybe 5-6 markets in total from October 2023 to May 2024. With a full market season ahead, it’s better than what I thought. What started as one roll on bottle has turned into more than 24 unique blends and into 4 lotions. Everything I do is to help. It’s also to offer an alternative to the medicinal world we know. Something without harmful side effects and something that can be used without fear of how it’ll affect you in the future.
I don’t stop learning. I continue to grab all the books I can and reread as much as I can. This is a passion! I love sharing it with our little corner of the world. I can’t wait to see how it grows in the years to come.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Hell no! The essential oil business is not an easy one. You have brands that aren’t trustworthy and that’s where skepticism comes in. I understand how hard it is to believe in something you haven’t tried or maybe you have tried and it didn’t work out so now you don’t want to try again.
With the knowledge I’ve been able to offer, I do hope that those who are nervous to try, do try again.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m an aromatherapist! I specialize in making roll on bottles and lotions that help alleviate daily discomforts!
I’m most proud of the fact that I’ve been able to help so many people already. I love that I’m able to share what aromatherapy is and how it helps. I’m proud that I’m able to do something I love.
My difference is I was taught how to help. It’s what motivates me. It keeps me up at night thinking of different things that might be needed. It’s also the people who come back, week after week, to the events I’m at and tell me how much these oils have helped them. I had an elderly woman who was suffering from bronchitis for about a month. She used an oil, Impervious Red, and she said it cleared up in 3 days of use. It warms my heart.
