Meet Destiny Robles and Rodney Johns

Today we’d like to introduce you to Destiny Robles and Rodney Johns.

Destiny had been working in the corporate world for a little over 17 years, with companies such as BofA, University of Phoenix and American Express. Rodney has always been an entrepreneur, creating a brand for himself through his music. About five years ago, Rodney was introduced to auto detailing from his uncle. He worked for his uncle’s company detailing vehicles at Sanderson Lincoln and immediately took a liking to it. After three years of working at Lincoln, unfortunately, they lost their contract and now Rodney was unemployed with a family and a household to maintain. With the financial responsibility now on Destiny, Rodney scrambled around to find employment. He tried everything from Labor Ready to warehouse work, he continued to put in applications at any place possible. Unfortunately, he kept getting turned down, job after job, for various reasons and rather than getting discouraged he talked to Destiny and expressed his interest in creating a business, she immediately agreed and supported the idea. What better business to create other than something you love to do-DETAILING! They started brainstorming, Destiny came up with the name We Shine Detailing, and Rodney started creating the business plan. The planning and preparing period was about nine months to a year, then once the LLC was formed, EIN created they started making investments into the business such as equipment, domains, websites, etc. Once all that was in place, the next was for Destiny yo take that leap of faith, leave all that she’s known in Corporate America and put all her energy into the business-We Shine Detailing.

We SHine Detailing went LIVE and started a business on March 12, 2018. Since then, it has been countless hours of strategizing, planning, and building relationships. We are consistently going back to the drawing board and perfecting our craft, our creation, our business.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been a struggle, but a beautiful one. Everything from personal struggles to financial struggles but on the same token we have created the flexibility, environment and time to be parents AND business owners. Without struggle, there is no growth, struggle creates discomfort which has to lead us to growth- an abundance of growth.

We do mobile auto detailing, bringing cleanliness and convenience to our customers.

We specialize in quality car care, anything from full detail, buffing, waxing, ceramic coating. We cater to any type of auto, Cars. trucks, RVs off-road vehicles, and boats.

We are known for our professionalism and quality of work.

We are most proud of the ability to provide for our family by servicing others.
