Meet David Martinez of Pour Jo Coffee

Today we’d like to introduce you to David Martinez.

Thanks for sharing your story with us David. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Pour Jo Coffee is a family owned business started in 2015 with my wife and sister in law after I decided to quit my job as a mechanic. I built our first coffee truck (Cindy) and it is continuing to grow.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No it has not lol, like any Food trucker will tell you when they first start you learn the food truck life. Truck overheating, generators stop working. Just getting to your stop in the summer is an accomplishment! More importantly than anything is trying to grow your brand inside a truck, especially in the specialty coffee industry.

Pour Jo Coffee – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We serve Specialty coffee right at your job, Wedding, or catering event right out of a truck. It doesn’t get any better than that. We spend time with our family and we can’t ask for more!

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
I would say the overwhelming amount of desire of people wanting Pour Jo! We didn’t know how much of a need it would be. Every time someone asks for us it’s amazing.
