Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Erosa.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I grew up in a small mountain town — Big Bear, California — and moved to Arizona in 2012. Before starting Golden Clover Recovery, I spent about 10 years working in EMS as an EMT and paramedic. I’ve always had a passion for helping people, but over time I started feeling pulled toward a different kind of care — something that focused more on long-term wellness and healing.
Around that same time, I was struggling with chronic hip pain and went to see a massage therapist who completely changed my perspective. That experience opened my eyes to how powerful massage can be — not just for relaxation, but for real, functional recovery. I couldn’t believe there was a career where you could help people move and feel their best every day.
Eventually, I decided to take the leap and pursue massage therapy full time, and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I’ve met so many amazing clients and colleagues along the way, and each connection has reinforced that I’m right where I’m supposed to be.
After becoming a mom, my passion for helping others grew even stronger. Experiencing pregnancy and postpartum firsthand made me realize how much support and care women need during that time, which led me to specialize in pre/postnatal massage as well.
It’s been such a rewarding journey, from the fast-paced world of EMS to helping people slow down, recover, and reconnect with their bodies.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Deciding to leave EMS and transition into massage therapy was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made. I went from a fast-paced, high-intensity job surrounded by a team to a much slower, one-on-one environment. That shift was a big adjustment. I really missed the sense of community that came with working in the fire department.
Over time, though, I’ve learned to build that same kind of connection in a new way — by reaching out to other wellness providers and realizing we’re all part of the same mission: helping people move and feel their best.
Another challenge was timing. I became pregnant less than six months after starting Golden Clover Recovery, so I had to grow the business slowly, knowing I’d be stepping away for a bit once my son arrived. At the time, it felt like a setback, but in hindsight, it was exactly what I needed. That season helped me slow down, refocus, and ultimately led me to specialize in pre- and postnatal massage — something I’m now incredibly passionate about.
As you know, we’re big fans of Golden Clover Recovery. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Golden Clover Recovery is all about helping people feel and function their best. I offer functional massage, pre/postnatal massage, and IV therapy that focuses on recovery, balance, and overall wellness — whether you’re an athlete, a busy parent, or just someone trying to take better care of yourself.
What makes my approach a little different is that I don’t just chase symptoms — I look at what’s actually causing the pain, tension, or fatigue. Every session is personalized, hands-on, and all inclusive (cupping, scraping, movement), with the goal of helping your body move better, reduce pain, and recover faster.
I’m also really passionate about supporting moms through all seasons — from prenatal to postpartum. As a working mom myself, I know how important it is to feel seen, supported, and cared for during those transitions. My prenatal and postnatal massage sessions are designed to be safe, comfortable, and deeply restorative.
I’m most proud that Golden Clover Recovery has become a space where people can come as they are. There’s no judgment — just real, effective care and a little bit of calm in the middle of busy life.
I want readers to know that recovery isn’t a luxury — it’s part of taking care of yourself. Whether that means loosening up sore muscles, rehydrating with an IV, or simply taking an hour to breathe and reset, I’m here to help you feel your best again.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
My husband, Edward Erosa, for always standing by my side and being my biggest cheerleader.
