Meet Dakota Morgan of The Comic Chronicle Podcast in West Side

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dakota Morgan.

Dakota, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
After years of being a comic book fan of the movies, books, and TV shows and with the birth of podcasts and many online communities, I knew that the fans needed a fun behind the scenes of comics. So as a published comic writer for Sggs Comics for many series and working in the film industry and host of the Filmworld Podcast, I decided to found The Comic Chronicle Podcast and is now on the Nerd with Balls Network. Now I am able to have guests from all over comics including movies and TV shows in an uncensored show to give new light on artists.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
There were many struggles on the road of the show. One is finding time for just the show between jobs in film, comics and a day job but while getting the motivation can be tough, the outcome of creating something is always worth it. One of the other struggles is one that I have found in art in my other jobs and especially in building the show, is the constant disbelief and being put down by others. The key is to push forward past the negativity and push to create. When you have the motivation, keep it and prove those people wrong and also prove to you that you can do create.

Please tell us about The Comic Chronicle Podcast.
The Comic Chronicle Podcast is a show that gives folks a new look at the people behind what they love with all things comic book-themed. No matter if it is the big two or indie, we have them on the show. We are known for having fun, exciting and really in-depth talks with our guests that people do not usually have and that puts us apart from others. The thing that I will always be proud of with the show is the inspiration and motivation that the show gives fans that pushes them to create or follow their dreams.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
If I did have to start over, I would have started with better equipment and pushing the show all over a lot earlier on.
