Meet Cristin Ensor

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cristin Ensor.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Cristin. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I began my journey into modeling at the age of 11 when I started taking Susan Huston’s modeling class at a local mall. I started doing small photoshoots one runway shows a year and some promotional and mannequin modeling. Within the past few months, things have started taking off for me and I’ve been able to get published in a few magazines and do a couple of shots a week.

Has it been a smooth road?
Growing up I wasn’t very confident in myself and it took me a long time to truly get comfortable in front of the camera. However, doing more modeling has really been a pivotal point for my self-confidence. I believe every young girl should get in front of a camera and see what others see and feel beautiful being themselves. It’s also been a big help to have a friend get into modeling and she’s offered me a lot of encouragement and help. It has not always been a smooth road however, I have grown and bettered myself from every bump.

Please tell us about your work.
Since I’m just starting out in the modeling industry I’m being really open to trying a lot of different things. I feel like my determination to always be myself is what sets me apart from a lot of other models. In such a diverse industry, you have to understand that you’re not always going to fit into what every company wants to represent them. Always being open and versatile is very important in the modeling industry.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love my city for all the unique spaces for photoshoots and also the diversity in the people.
