Today we’d like to introduce you to Craig Magee

Hi Craig, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I came from a retail background. I enjoyed working with people and helping them, but I wanted more. I had some injuries and chronic pain and wanted to help myself. Becoming a therapist has helped me and, in the end, helped my clients through my experiences and education. I have been a therapist for 15 years and started my business, Your Body Remedy, in 2020.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
This industry has its busy and slow times, and being a male in the industry can bring its own challenges, but that has made me push myself and think outside of myself. This is also why I try to explain and educate my clients on what I am going to do.

We’ve been impressed with Your Body Remedy, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

I am a massage therapist working with a lot of people who have pain or injuries, helping them get better or maintain their well-being. I am very passionate about what I do and practice what I preach by doing self-care daily.
I use certain tools on my clients that I also use myself, and I sell those as well. My brand is focused on helping the body, mind, and soul, and every session is customizable. I do everything from injury treatment to energy work, like Reiki.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
I tell my clients there is no happy pill and nothing can happen overnight. I only have a certain amount of time with them, so the more they can do at home, come in on a regular basis, and listen to their body, the more it can all be beneficial.
