Meet Corey Gefroh of Advertiser Advisors in Tempe

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Corey Gefroh.

Corey, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I am proud to say that I was born and raised in the great state of Arizona, and currently live in Tempe with my two high-energy, loveable dogs, Malcolm and Copper. Family gatherings were frequent and always eventful with at least 20 cousins running around, creating a strong foundation to my fondest memories as a child. Camping and riding dirt bikes have always been my favorite past times, continually fueling my ambition for adventure. Random fact about me – the first time I had ever been on a plane was when I went skydiving. 

Has it been a smooth road?
Of course I’ve had some speed bumps along the way, but such is life. What is a success story without trial and error, mistakes and accumulating small victories? I have been blessed with good health and a supportive family; I am grateful to live in a country that has provided me opportunities and tools for success. Despite what the day-to-day brings me, I know I’ll be alright as long as I have a good cup of coffee. I graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Marketing, Sustainability and International Business. (Go Sun Devils!) I have since held several positions as a Marketing and Sales Associate, allowing me to travel internationally, and work alongside some of the largest digital advertising companies in the industry. Given my success, business education, and prior marketing experience, I left the corporate world and started my own freelance marketing agency, Advertiser Advisors.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
The digital world is constantly evolving and becoming more accessible with the advancement of new technology. Over the years, this shift has created new opportunities for marketers to advertise to potential clients in a very strategic way that was never available before with traditional forms of marketing such as print, radio and TV. Digital marketing has allowed us to become more strategic, targeted, and focused with advertising campaigns reducing cost and maximizing returns. Although automation is helping to simplify the process, I believe a personal expert will always be needed to develop each business’s unique marketing strategy and answer any questions along the way.
