Today we’d like to introduce you to Cooper, Travis, and Daniel Johnson.
Cooper, at age 5, decided he needed to get a job. A few days later a ‘dog walker needed sign’ was posted in the neighborhood. With his love for dogs, this was perfect and thus a business was born! After not too long Travis, Cooper’s younger brother, asked the main dog walking client if she had any jobs for him. He became the ‘Director of Droppings’.
Daniel, the oldest of the three brothers started helping on odd jobs as they came up after that and now they have a great partnership.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Occasionally a job is more difficult than our skill set allows and we have to rise to the occasion hauling large branches or using the equipment we barely know how to use. Luckily our parents support us!
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into The Good Care Company story. Tell us more about the business.
Specializing in pet care, but always taking good care in the Gilbert, AZ and Chandler, AZ areas. At ages 8, 10 and 12 learning how to be hard workers, serve others and be responsible is important. The utilization of the Good Care Company helps us help you! Dog walking, dog poop picks up, other animal care, patio refreshes, age-appropriate landscaping, and odd jobs, we will do it!
We are proud to have been in business for 5 years now. That’s literally half of Cooper’s life!
What sets us apart is that we are kids working hard and serving the community are important values for us.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
It was awfully lucky to find a ‘dog walker needed’ sign when Cooper was 5 and the rest is history!
