Meet Consigned Through Oblivion

Today we’d like to introduce you to Consigned Through Oblivion.

Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
We are a group of musicians that have been in various bands throughout the years. We all have many influences that we blend together to create our own unique sound. We try to incorporate our lives experiences and express it through our music and art.

Please tell us about your art.
We all have been passionate about music for as long as we can remember. We find music as the perfect outlet to express what we feel and think as individuals. We try to send a message about overcoming dark times and turning life around for the better. We hope that people can find a message in our music that means something to them.

What do you think about conditions for artists today? Has life become easier or harder for artists in recent years? What can cities like ours do to encourage and help art and artists thrive?
I think it goes both ways. With today’s social networking bands have promotion at their fingertips. With pages like Instagram and Facebook artist can instantly share their work worldwide. So with that said it can be easier. As far as our cities go, we can work more to try and get our local artists known and help build up the music scene as well as all the other various artwork the city has to offer. If we work together, we can all help today’s artist strive and create.

We have various social media pages. We have a lot of our artwork and music on Instagram @consignedthrough as well as facebook/consignedthroughband. We are going to release our first EP this year!
