Meet Connie Bunyard of Use My Guy Services in SE Valley

Today we’d like to introduce you to Connie Bunyard.

Connie, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
We began our company on 2/11/2011 as a handyman company. It was our desire to give “handyman” a new name, by providing excellent service like we would want done for our family. Originally it was John, Jacob and me and over the years, we have grown our company to nine employees. In 2017, we got our general contractor’s license giving us the ability to do residential along with commercial. Our focus is on creating beautiful kitchen and baths. Along with that on the commercial side of things we are expanding offices for professionals and creating more workable spaces. We are thankful to be family owned and operated with three of our adult children working together with us.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The biggest struggle we have encountered along the way is expanding our team. To find qualified technicians who are skilled and ready to work has been a challenge. At this point, we are very thankful for the team we have as they have excellent skills and complement our team.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Use My Guy Services – what should we know?
It is our greatest desire to provide for homeowners and property owners service that sets us apart from our competitors, treating each project as if it were our own. Our company provides plumbing, electrical, drywall, stucco, painting, carpentry and some flooring. We can take care of everything from beginning to the end.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
We are fortunate that our company is family-owned and operated in that it gives us an internal team to support one another. Aside from that however, we have been very involved in the Queen Creek and Mesa Chamber of Commerce’s where we not only have mentors but a plethora of supporters. We also spend a lot of time reading from great authors like John Maxwell, Berne Brown and Stephen Covey there is Always something to learn!
