Today we’d like to introduce you to Comfort B Media.

Hi Comfort B, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My name is Comfort Beene and I’ve always had a love for Jesus, people and serving! If there was an event for a family member or friend I made sure to take over planning and promoting and while the event was going I wanted to make sure memories were being saved through signed cards, pictures and videos. I graduated college with my B.S in Mass Communications/PR and with my Masters in P.E/Sports Administration. During my time as a cheer/dance coach, pageant coach, athletic director, entertainer for the Phoenix Suns and Arizona Cardinals I was always making sure I content create and edit! My husband Adam has been telling me for years to start my own social media business and with his support and a lot of trusting Jesus, I finally did. May 24th 2024 I started Comfort B Media – my social media management, graphic designing and videography business!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
When it comes to business, I didn’t know the first thing. That’s the only thing I regretted not doing in college – getting a minor in business. I just know this was something Jesus told me to start, trust him and it’s been an amazing journey so far. I told myself even if I make one cent at least I know I was obedient.
The Lord is truly faithful – he has allowed me to work with some incredible companies, individuals and surrounded me with people how have helped grow and learn in this space. I’ve been blessed to be apart of business seminar’s, traveling more for my business and nonprofit (Comfort The Nation) and so much more! I am so grateful and beyond excited for all the future holds!

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I view myself as a low or controlled risk taker but in this choice with Comfort B Media – it was a big risk. I wrestled with the Lord on this one for about 5 months before fully jumping into the entrepreneur realm. I quit three jobs, took a huge pay cut, with little to no knowledge of business. If you know me I wouldn’t do anything like this on my own, I am a planner to the max.
In this new world every day looks different, and I’m FULLY TRUSTING JESUS with everything! If there was a part of me that wasn’t giving up control, I surrendered it all now and I’m so glad I did! It’s the most rewarding thing and very peaceful.

Of course there have been ups and downs but the one thing that keeps me centered is continuing to seek the Kingdom instead of God’s hand, being obedient and I’m really enjoying myself with these beautiful people and serving!
