Meet Colton and Jordan Frabasilio of Presidential Pools & Spas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Colton and Jordan Frabasilio.

Colton and Jordan, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
We are Colton and Jordan Frabasilio, twin brothers who are Custom Swimming Pool Designers for Presidential Pools & Spas in Gilbert, AZ. About a year and a half ago, we decided to call ourselves “Pres Pool Brothers,” and officially opened an Instagram account under that name. The inspiration comes from a very popular and successful set of twins who go by “Property Brothers.” While we don’t have our own TV show yet, we are inspired by the Scott brothers who have accomplished so much together! Although we each design our own pools, our intention collectively is to create an image that is beneficial for pool sales as well as possibly creating other opportunities for the future. The image we strive to portray is simple… Work Hard to ensure success. Design Pools that people are proud of. Associate with other businesses that have a strong work ethic and collaborate with organizations who truly care about strengthening the community.

For additional exposure, we wrapped the tailgate of our 2012 Dodge Ram work truck. The design needed to be simple yet, distinctive and captivating. Simply placing a company logo and slogan on the vehicle seemed uninspiring. Adding our larger than life faces and personal contact information make it easy for potential pool owners to contact us. We also added our Instagram address to give people another option to reach us. The words Envision -Design -Swim are straightforward and clearly affirm what we do. We specifically choose not to wrap the entire truck. We believe that people respond best when the message is concise and charismatic. We constantly get phone calls and texts with positive feedback.

Now 26, born and raised in Chandler, AZ, we both played baseball until a few years ago. Since age 4, through high school and Jr college, we were always part of the same team. Our Junior year of college, we both accepted scholarships to play Division 1 Baseball at different schools across the country. Colton, Saint Louis University (SLU), Jordan University of Pittsburg (PITT). After college, Jordan returned to AZ in 2015. He started to learn the swimming pool business from the ground up working for Presidential Pools in Construction and Service prior to designing pools. Colton was drafted his senior year of college by the Kansas City Royals in 2015 and played in their minor-league system for three years. In 2017, he returned to AZ and like Jordan started by learning the business. The game of Baseball has made a huge impact on our lives. We both credit the sport for a strong work ethic and a never-ending desire to keep moving forward and succeed. Although we are forever learning and sometimes stumble, we work very hard to be the best at what we do and our competitive nature ingrained from baseball challenges us to always strive for more. We recently purchased our first piece of Real Estate together. We will continue to work in partnership and look forward to the possibilities that lie ahead. Our individual baseball careers took us in different directions for a bit, but it makes perfect sense that once again, we came together and operate as a team.

Has it been a smooth road?
We both enjoy what we do. Since we both started out in the business learning the construction and service side, this helped tremendously when we transitioned to Sales and Design. We continue to learn and try to get better every day.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Presidential Pools & Spas (Company) Pres Pool Brothers (us) story. Tell us more about the business.
We sell and design swimming pools and spas for Presidential Pools & Spas. We are honored to work for this company for several reasons. Presidential Pools is the #1 pool company in AZ and feasibly the largest in the country. We are respected in the industry for excellent customer service. Ownership is hands-on and works well with employees and customers alike. Our dad is one of the owners and we appreciate the opportunity he has given us. We both work extremely hard to make sure he is proud.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
We anticipate growth in the swimming pool industry in Arizona. People can swim year-round here and as long as the economy remains stable and more and more people continue to move to this state, the outlook is bright.
