Meet Christopher Boesel of Sonoran Dream Cars in Chandler

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christopher Boesel.

Christopher, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I have always loved cars and grew up on race tracks watching my father race motorcycles and cars. I had posters and magazines and always loved automotive photography. I began taking my son to Cars and Coffee and other car shows and began shooting cars with my smartphone. The response from my automotive photos were better than any others and it fuel the fire to shoot more cars. I bought a small point and shoot type camera and used it until I felt too limited and upgraded to my Canon T3i. From there it has been a snowball. Shooting in less of the show settings and have successfully had my work published nationally.

Has it been a smooth road?
Nothing worth having comes easy! The largest challenge for me has been the time it takes to learn and evolve my craft while balancing my family and other work life.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Sonoran Dream Cars story. Tell us more about the business.
I am a photographer. My main focus is automotive photography, but I also like to shoot nature, more specifically animals and flowers, and people. I have been published in DSPORT Magazine and shoot cars any chance I get. I am known most for my “Rollers.” These are shots of cars while they are in motion. My shots are dramatic and the details of the cars are defined and highlighted. Cars look best rolling down the road!!

So, what should we be on the lookout for, what’s next in store for you?
I would like to find my way into more publications. I would also like to start working on some videos as well. I have a drone in the works for higher angle stills and video, which will take me to the next level.
